Patience Green, M.D. is a fifth-year resident from Austell, GA. She completed her undergraduate education at Howard University and her medical degree at the Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Green currently serves as the Health Ministry Leader at Bethany AME Church in Capitol Heights, MD
Laquanda T. Knowlin, M.D. is a graduate of University of South Carolina- Upstate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Knowlin is a Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine alum, Class of 2010. She started her residency at the Medical University of South Carolina as a preliminary general surgery resident before joining the general surgery residency at Howard University Hospital in 2014.
During her residency, Dr. Knowlin was awarded a NIH funded T32 Training Grant in Trauma Critical Care at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she participated in basic, clinical, and translational science research involving critically injured burn victims. Dr. Knowlin would like to continue her surgical/research career in the field of Pediatric Surgery after graduating general surgery residency.
Edward Prevatt, M.D. is an Honors graduate from Amherst College with a double major of Black Studies and Biology. After graduating he did two years of bench research, one at Yale University School of Medicine and the second at the University of The West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago. He then obtained his Medical Doctorate at the Howard University College of Medicine graduating in 2015.
Asa Ramdath, M.B., B.S. is a fifth year resident who graduated from the University of The West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Ramdath graduated with his MBBS having received a National Scholarship. Dr. Ramdath honored in Environment and Health, Basic Para Clinical Sciences, Digestion and Metabolism, Neuroscience and Behavior, Muscle, Bones and Joints. Dr. Ramdath maintained a position as a House Staff Officer for 3 straight years at San Fernando Hospital in Trinidad and Tobago.
Adil Shah, M.D. is a fifth year resident who graduated from Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan.
