Eligible candidates for PGY-1 pharmacy residencies must have:

  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from a college of pharmacy accredited (or in the process of pursuing accreditation) by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
  • A pharmacist license or be eligible for licensure in the state where the residency is conducted

Applicants are not only evaluated on scholastic accomplishments but also on community involvement, communication skills, professional and ethical conduct, and critical thinking skills. Applicants possessing these general qualities will be considered for an interview.
