Applicants must possess a Ph.D. and have postdoctoral experience. Within the context of molecular and cell biology, the candidate may be involved in neuroscience, developmental, genomic or other innovative molecular and cell biology research. Highest priority will be given to candidates with a strong history of scholarly activity with either an established research program or the potential to develop an externally funded research program. The College of Medicine is currently expanding its basic science faculty and offers a competitive start-up package. The preferred teaching competency of the applicant is in histology and cell biology. There are abundant opportunities for collaborations within the College of Medicine and at nearby institutions (NIH, FDA, USDA).
