Recommendations

It is strongly suggested that candidates utilize the services of the health professions advising offices at their university or college.

HUCM requires at least two letters of recommendation from premedical science professors (i.e. instructors who taught applicant in classroom or lab) or a committee letter of evaluations. Letters from research staff or volunteer venues will be accepted IN ADDITION to science recommendations. (Limit 4)

If available, candidates are strongly encouraged to participate in electronic evaluation services such as Interfolio or VIRTUAL EVALUATIONS. Applicants do not have access to Virtual Evaluations. Only senders (health professions offices) and receivers (medical schools) have access. Please check with the health professions office to determine if your college or university subscribes to this service.

Because of the large number of recommendations, we cannot acknowledge receipt of letters of recommendation.
